1. Spot reduction is ideally not possible, so indulge yourself in cardiovascular exercise at least 4 times a week to shed extra fat from all over your body. Once you have reached near to your ideal weight than you can focus on individual areas for better outcome.
  2. Get enough sleep because if you just focus on exercises without proper rest, then you might over exhaust yourself. Over excretion will increase stress hormone which will increase your appetite leading to overeating. Therefore try to get sleep at least for 6-8 hours in a day.
  3. Limit your calorie intake to reduce your fat. Less overall calories will ensure efficient weight loss. In case you don’t fill full or you feel hungry quiet often try to eat foods high in fibre that will have a high satiety value resulting in less in between snacking.
  4. Keep yourself well hydrated as it will prevent you from confusing thirst for hunger.
  5. Do not restrict you fat intake completely. Instead try to eat healthy fat like MUFA and PUFA as they will help burn the belly fat. Good sources include: Almonds, olive oil etc
  6. Dinner should be your lightest meal of the day. Because during night time your body metabolic rate is the slowest that means whatever you will eat will get converted to fat easily. Therefore try to have low calories foods for dinner like vegetable soup, salad bowl or fruit with skimmed milk.
  7. Eat salads as your first course of your every meal. This will ensure that your stomach is full and this way you also avoid eating extra calories.
